FAN's ELITE Coach Training Model

  1. Examine yourself to be aware of what you think, feel, and do as a Financial Advisor;

  2. Listen to learn what matters most for clients personally and financially;

  3. Inquire to clarify your clients’ core values, purpose, and life goals;

  4. Test for truth to build trust and authenticity in relationships; and

  5. Endorse to enroll, energize, and encourage clients to move forward with implementation of their financial life plan.

FAN's ELITE Coach-Training program will give participants five core skills that equip Insurance and Financial Advisors to build trust more deeply in relationships and manage the financial life planning process more effectively. These core coaching skills are built into all eight sessions of our program so that your learning sticks long after you've left the workshop. The underlying principle of building purpose-centered alliances is that we need to understand our clients’ purposes very clearly. As these conversations unfold, we realize very quickly that one client’s enduring values may be very different from the values of another client. How can we tell the difference? By listening and watching. We listen to what they say, and as we listen to their words and observe their nonverbal signals, we determine if they are goal-oriented or relational, slow or quick to make decisions, detailed or focused only on the bottom line. If we read them accurately, we can avoid wasting time, focus on their needs, and gain their trust more completely and more quickly. And in doing those things, they will, as we have said, trust us with their lives, their families, and their assets.
